Google announced a new feature that you can make phone calls from gmail few days ago. But I still don't see any button like "Call phone" to make call. I tried with another gmail account last night and it worked. It's weird, huh? But fortunately, I stumbled across this site and found the solution.
Here's how:
1. Go to gmail settings.
2. Change Language: to English (US)
3. Try to reload gmail or sign in again.
4. Tada, it works!
Enjoy making calls to US and Canada for free until end of this year.
To make call to Myanmar, it costs $0.35/minute (Ouch!)
To Sg, it's $0.02/minute (Yeahhh!)
Check out rates for other countries.
$0.10 credit is there for you to make a test call. Don't forget to call your loved ones and say Hi. Thanks for reading. :)
